The ICARE Master or master CARE (Clean And Renewable Energy) is a two- to three-year post-graduate programme, dedicated to students who have already obtained a degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, process engineering) or another relevant scientific discipline (e.g. physics, mathematics, etc.).
All courses are taught mainly in English in ICARE Institute at Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST) in Wuhan (China) by Chinese professors from HUST and European professors coming from partner universities* for 2-week teaching missions on average, all renowned experts in their fields.
Structure of the master
The configuration of the curriculum gathers theoretical courses in the first year (Semester 1 & Semester2), dedicating the second year to research activities split into a period called “first path to research” (Semester 3) and the internship (Semester 4).
The validation of Semester 1 to Semester 4 is needed to obtain the MINES ParisTech Master degree. One year of research in a Chinese laboratory is needed to get the HUST Master of Science.
